Notorious Bachelor, 52 year old George Clooney is engaged to Amal  Alamuddin,36, his lawyer girlfriend of about 7 months .

E! News,confirmed the couple told actor Edward Norton "We're engaged!".

George has been noted for dating models,waiters ,but Amal who is Lebanese  is now an adviser to former UN Secretary General Kofi Annan, who is the special envoy to Syria.

Prior to dating Amal,he dated former wrestler Stacey Kiebler for two years with their relationship ending in July.

She recently got engaged and married.
