Speaker after speaker, the lawmakers took their turn to comment on the state of the state and the rot in the financial management of the
country.
They noted that the deduction has been having a toll on the living standards of the people and the state's economic development.
In its resolution, the Assembly urged the National Assembly to hire the services of the independent Audit Firm to scrutinize the finances
of the NNPC.
The house also called on the federal government to return all illegal deductions into the federation account.
They also urged the Supreme Court to expedite actions on all cases relating to sovereign national wealth and illegal deductions pending
