STF Arrests Man, 50, With Five Human Skulls
The Special Task-Force on Jos Crisis, arrested a 50 year old man with five human skulls, one of which was still fresh, during a house to house search for those with unlawful possession of firearms in the Plateau Central Local Council of Plateau State.
Also arrested along with the man were three other suspects who were caught with locally made guns.
Parading the suspects at the STF headquarters spokesman of the STF, Salisu Mustapha, said the suspect arrested with human skulls denied ownership of the skulls despite that they were uncovered in the ceiling of his residence in Mangu Local Government Area.
Mustapha said a thorough search was carried out in the suspected skull dealer’s house before handing him over to the appropriate authorities for prosecution.
It would be recalled that cases of missing persons were reported at the wake of the breakout of violence in Jos recently, with some headless bodies found in many places.
On how the other suspects were arrested during the special security operation, Mustapha said they were apprehended during another cordon and search operation conducted at Busabuji area of Jos North Local Government Area at night.
