Eid: Uzodinma Hosts Imo Islamic-Faithfuls To A Feast
In the spirit of the Eid celebration, the Imo state governor Hope Uzodimma hosted hundreds of Islamic faithfuls in the state.
The governor hosted them to a feast right in the government house banquet hall where they all merry.
Addressing them, Governor Uzodimma said his government is for the well being of every law-abiding resident of the state.
He assured the Hausa community who are mostly Muslims of maximum security of their lives and properties as they live and do business in the state.
The chief Imam of the central mosque in the state Sheik Sulaiman Njokwu in his remark urges all and sundry to live righteously and be committed to loving one another just as the Islamic religion teaches.
Some of the Islamic faithful bare their minds on the development, they express gratitude over the gesture of the governor while promising their unalloyed support towards the success of his government for the general good of Imo state.
Present to support the governor in hosting members of the Muslim community includes the deputy governor Placid Njoku, The Speaker, the deputy speaker, the security chiefs in the state among a host of others.
