Nigeria flags off mass vaccination
Nigeria will flag off a Yellow Fever Prevention Mass Vaccination Campaign in four high risk States including Borno state, the northeastern part of Nigeria.
The three implementing states for the Mass Vaccination Campaign are Kwara, Kogi and Zamfara as well as Borno where accessible Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) will be the main target groups for the campaign that is scheduled to hold in phases.
Addressing journalists during a Press Conference held at the headquarters of the National Primary Health Care Development Agency, Abuja, the Executive Director of the Agency and a representative of the World Health Organisation (WHO) says the exercise is to hold from 25th January to the 14th of February.
The overall scheduling will see Kwara, Kogi and Zamfara have the Mass Vaccination Campaign 25th January to 3rd of February, while the exercise will hold in Borno State from the 5th to the 14th of February this year.
