Farmers/herders crisis victims to get medical aid

Ten thousand persons are set to access free medical care in the Southern senatorial district of Adamawa state.

Adamawa south had in recent past suffered the backlash of farmers-herders Crisis, where residents are left to cater for their basic needs.

A medical team of about twenty health practitioners comprising of ophthalmologists,  gynaecologists, dentists, paediatrics, consultants and general surgeons under the aegis of humanitarian and rural health have commenced the intervention.

The senator of the southern senatorial district Binos Yeroe says he will make sure he fulfils all his campaign promises and bring dividends of democracy to his people at the grassroots.

The team leader of the practitioners say the outreach will last for a week and in severe cases, the patients will be referred to federal medical centre Yola.

According to him, the medical intervention is one of the measures stakeholders are adopting to serve as a recovery means for victims of the farmers, herders Crisis.

One of the beneficiaries who spoke to Galaxy News applauds the giant strides of the senator and appealed to him not to relent in such gesture that will better the lives of ordinary Nigerians
