Nigeria Likely To Face Scotland

The Super Eagles of Nigeria may play a friendly against Scotland as part of their preparations for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. According to reports, Scotland have been offered a Chance to face Nigeria in a friendly at Fulham’s Craven Cottage ground on an unstated date in May.

Despite confirming their participation in the ‘Road to Brazil’ tourney being organized in the United States by the MLS, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and their associates are still making plans for other tune-up games for the Super Eagles. Scotland have been drawn in the same European Championships qualifying group as Germany, Republic of Ireland, Poland, Georgia and Gibraltar.

Both countries have not met since 2002 when Nigeria came from behind to beat Scotland 2-1 in Aberdeen.
