Minister of the Federal capital territory and former governor of Rivers state Nyesom Wike has berated one time governor of Rivers state Dr. Peter Odili over his statement that the present governor of the state Siminalayi Fubara has beaten the record of his predecessors despite spending only a year in office.

The FCT minister made the remarks at the Anglican church in Port Harcourt, in an event to honour the speaker of the Rivers state house of assembly Hon Martin Amaewhule.

According to him, the former governor should have acted as a statesman rather than praise singing for a governor just spending a year in office.
