President Tinubu Says The Economic Partnership Between Africa And China Has Grown To The Tune Of $280BN

President Bola Tinubu says the Economic Partnership Trade between Africa and China has grown exponentially, reaching an estimated 280 billion US dollars.

The president made the assertion on Thursday at the ongoing Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, FOCAC. He said the impressive figures speak volumes about the extent of the economic relationship and expanding integration of member countries’ market.

The president stated that China's Belt and Road Initiative, align with the Africa's own infrastructure goals under the African continental Free Trade Agreement.

Stating that the alignment offers even a greater promise, the president explained that the success of FOCAC and their broader partnership emphasizes the importance , truth that global progress is not a zero sum game adding that by working together and joining hands and looking for that win, win solution, the forum will create opportunities for success , people, development and shared prosperity. He said their joint efforts will definitely reinforce the vision for a multipolar world,
Where diverse perspectives are embraced and cooperation is key to solving global challenges.

According to him, the heart of China -African relations is a foundation built on trust, mutual respect and the pursuit of common goals. He said going forward, it is crucial that they maintain the momentum , peaceful dialog, transparent business practices, diplomatic, conflict resolution remains at the forefront of their efforts.

These values he said will ensure that the bond between Africa and China continue to deepen and benefit both regions for the generations yet to come.
