NIMS justifies arrest of Bobrisky

The Nigeria Immigration Service NIS has broken its silence on the arrest of convicted cross-dresser, Idris Okuneye aka Bobrisky.

Admitting that Bobrisky was arrested on Monday at the Seme Border while trying to flee the country, Service Public Relations Officer SPRO, DCI Kenneth Udo said the cross-dresser is a person of interest.

The service in a statement issued in Abuja said in keeping with its commitment to securing the borders, Nigeria Immigration Service NIS intercepted Okuneye Idris Olanrewaju otherwise known as Bobrisky at the Seme Border over an attempt to Exit the Country.

Justifying it's action, the Immigration Service disclosed  that Okuneye Idris is a person of interest over recent issues of public concern adding that he is undergoing interrogation and will be handed over to the appropriate Authorities for further action.

The Service assured the public that it will continue to be civil and professional in its statutory responsibility of manning the Country’s Borders.
