Nigerian Medical Association Speaks Out On Healthcare Challenges

The Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) Kaduna State Branch has addressed the pressing on issues facing the healthcare sector in the state. 

 

At a press briefing, Chairman Dr. Madaki David Sheyin highlighted the challenges affecting healthcare workers and the impact on the quality of care.

 

Dr sheyin said his colleague Dr Ganiyat popoola was kidnapped within the premises of the hospital at national eye center kaduna with some of her family members and all efforts to rescue her seems abortive.

 

The president elect, Medical association of nigeria national president Dr zainab idris said their colleague in captivity is a breastfeeding mother and need need to be rescued as a matter of urgency.

 

 

As the healthcare sector continues to face numerous challenges, the NMA's call to action serves as a reminder of the need for collective effort to address these issues and ensure quality healthcare services for all Nigerians.

 

The NMA also announced its upcoming Annual General Meeting and Scientific Conference, themed "Enhancing Healthcare Delivery amidst challenges: Strategies for a Sustainable Medical Practice in Nigeria."
