The Commissioner of environment and natural resources Kaduna state Mallam Ibrahim Garba Hussain has said that his ministry is open for engagement and taking proactive measures that will help end disaster in the state.

He said this Friday during an advocacy visit to his ministry by members of a network of civil society in the environment.

Speaking further Mallam Ibrahim Hussain commissioner ministry of environment and natural resources said proactive measures have been taking to help end flooding in the state.

In her address, the leader of the delegation Gloria kasang bulus and other members of the delegation said the importance of a healthy environment cannot be overemphasized.
