FG Advised To Dialogue with Warring Groups and Regulate Social Media
The Federal Government has been urged to urgently call disgruntled groups in the country to a national dialogue to address the underlying causes of their aggressiveness.
Speaking with Journalists on the debate among Lawmakers on the state of insecurity in Nigeria, Senate Ned Nwoko, representing Delta North, emphasized the urgent need for increased security personnel in Abadam and Marte Local Government Areas of Borno State.
Galaxy Television reports that Senator Nwoko further advocated for the regulation of social media platforms operating in Nigeria. He argued that such regulation would not only create more jobs but also improve the government's ability to monitor activities like money laundering and other illegal activities occurring on these platforms.
