Benue state Governor, Rev Fr Hyacinth Alia, has commissioned the 250KVA Solar Infrastructure and the renovated Mental and Psychosocial Rehabilitation Centre at the Benue State University Teaching Hospital, (BSUTH), Makurdi.

The 250KVA Solar Infrastructure was donated to the state by the Federal Government through the office of the Vice President, Kashim Shettima.

@Galaxytv reports that the Governor expressed appreciation to the federal government for bringing the project to Benue saying it will go a long way in solving the energy need of the hospital. The governor who took a tour of the projects as well as the psychosocial center newly renovated by the chief Medical director Stephen Hwande among other facilities. Thanked the CMD for his effort and promised to reposition it for effective health care delivery service just as he directed the health commissioner to ensure no health workers lacks anything including pensioners.
